The reason why Royce wanted to leave Orson's place with Jade was never explained as well before tragedy struck. Storm's reason for never removing his shirt in public is never addressed that I can recall. I must say that not all answers are given at least not 2 or 3 that I had thought I received. There were so many questions and things didn't make sense, and then it sort of came together in the end. Thoughts: I read this book recently and I was conflicted with the storyline as well as the rating I gave it before. When Royce returns home one day, after years of his absence, he is a changed grown ruthless man in a motorcycle club. One day, Royce just leaves her, and her world shatters. It could have been his doing as he was always flirting with her. Things with Jade starts to change when she starts to see Royce as more than just a brother. It is always Jade, with Royce and his 2 best friends Storm and Orson. They are one of the richest families, and she becomes Royce's, her foster's brother world. Narration ~ Dual POV-Jade (Duchess) & Royce (Sicko) Jones doing what she does best, messing with your mind and heart, while questioning if your soul is intact.Triggers / Warnings? ~ Explicit rape, underage girl trafficking, underage rape, crude language, torture, adoptive siblings, manwh*re You will be confused and look for logic between the covers, but don’t, because you won’t find it. WTF do I say about that ending, except holy crap, you are good Amo Jones, you are good.

However, the further you read the more it grabbed you and very quickly engulfed you in toxicity and demented pleasure all while carrying you along until you hit that ending. There were some timeline issues/jumps that made me feel slightly disconnected from the story, which made Amo’s writing style slightly different. This book will rip you apart, leave you for dead, erroneously throw you back together only to rip you apart yet again…slowly and painfully! They are toxic, darker than dark, and maybe slightly psychologically skewed. Nik/Antichrist and Meraki are DEFINITELY not your traditional Heroes and heroines, even for a dark romance. You know exactly what to write and how to write it. Amo Jones, why? Why do I consciously choose to read your books again and again when I know you are going to break me over and over yet again? The answer is simple, you are a genius to the highest level.
